Red, White, and Bluejeans

Just a quick post this morning as I head out to celebrate with the family.

This isn't the table we'll be using today, but it's one that I set for my kitchen.  I would have put it outside, but.... you know... the rain rain rain came down down down...

Happy Independence Day
to one and all!

May we never forget that this freedom we hold so dear
 came at a price.

All freedoms do, you know.

May we celebrate the day with an ear to the past
and an eye to the future.

And today more than ever, may all our dreams be
 American  made.

My favorite was the jeans pocket napkin holders! This little cowgirl may have to *borrow* those!

Hope you have a wonderful 4th - and yes, may we always remember the price of freedom. Many shed their blood for the freedom of this country.

And One shed His blood for the freedom of this world.

GOD BLESS AMERICA...(and you!)

Not sure how I missed this post this morning. I just love your table. I can't believe how well the flower color coordinates with those plates and jeans. I would never have noticed the match. You really have a great eye. So happy we finally had a chance to visit today. Hope you've had a great Independence Day!! :)

Love those jean pocket utensil holders, Debbie! One of these days I'm going to make those. I've been hoarding jeans for years for those "someday" projects. Happy 4th to you!

Great table -- and GORGEOUS hydrangeas.

Your burnished blue jeans tablescape is just delightful, Debbie! I envy you those big BLUE hydrangeas...mine have all turned pink this year. I'll have to get some 'stuff' to add to the soil.

Yes, my entire blog was not accessible yesterday for awhile. I was having chest pains! I have no idea how or why it happened & I sent a multitude of emails to google support...no help at all, except maybe they fixed it from their end??? *sigh* Technology baffles & frustrates me so.

Hope you have a lovely weekend planned. It is raining here again, too. *double sigh*

Debbie, I remember the first time you posted those blue jean pockets. I thought they were genius, and I was going to remember to do them. That was before Pinterest-or at least, before I knew about Pinterest. I'm posting them this time, so I'll remember to save my old jeans. Did you paint those chargers? They are the perfect blue jean color. Hope you had a wonderful celebration yesterday. laurie

Sounds good to me, (that I may be able to inspire your thrifty fashion concerns) and THANK YOU for following me. Sandie is a doll, isn't she. My goodness your patriotic color scheme on your tablescape is so beautiful and fun. I never do that stuff; paper plates and cups is about my speed. hahahaha

Shut the front door! This is really neat! I'm thinking this is one of my favorites of yours so far!!! VERY cool!!! What color are those chargers? They appear to be a light denim color on my computer. Or maybe that's just my imagination and old eyes playing tricks on me...I don't know. They just look to be a denim color which works SO WELL with the whole table!

I hope you had a fun holiday. Take care and enjoy your weekend!

It's lovely, as always, Debbie. And please forgive me for not having been around in blogland much lately. It seems life has been spinning and I can't get off, but all is good.

Hope to get back in the groove, groove soon, soon.

I love, love, love this! I adore the little blue jean pockets and I recognize those star napkins inside. The hydrangea centerpiece is perfect for the 4th. I wish the deer would quit eating mine. I have none this year! I am also very fond of the plaid plates and is that a painted charger with a bluish tint? Very cute table! Glad you had a great 4th!
