Soooo happy to be back visiting on Blogland - my lurking days these past few project laden and mental exhaustion weeks were making me a bit irritable. So much to hear about - so much to say - and no time within which to do so!

Today is my guilty pleasure blog reading and catching up day now that I've caught two of my blogs up with posts and will get my husband's devotional typed up and posted tomorrow - poor guy - he writes away and I just plunk it on the pile!

Now - the Washington trip thing - super! Hate it there, myself. Not much of a city girl and I prefer wheels with convenient parking directly in front of where I want to go. However, your daughter's apartment is a stunner - and coming with a secret garden and 20 minute walk to work? Dreamy - except in inclement weather. Museums are nice - and all the historical monuments - inspiring. Could do without the Congress session - been once and came away with the same opinion - how DO they get anything done when they appear to be so indifferent to whoever is speaking. Oh - little gets accomplished - so the newspapers say - no wonder. Anyway - preferring to stay out of politics, over-rated eateries with long lines, and crowded halls when I'm vacationing, I would opt for spending the afternoon at daughter's apartment reading a good book by the long windows with those filtered rays of sunshine spilling across the daybed (I'd keep the browns) and a cup of tea at hand. And, perhaps, that nifty salad of yours with the grilled watermelon chunks - sounds yummy!

Sounds like the Lord paves the way for our kids and we just get to praise Him with grateful hearts along the way. Happy mom.

Joy to you, friend!
KathyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5445819367576845715.post-67812516351328379112012-06-13T10:07:31.802-04:002012-06-13T10:07:31.802-04:00I thought I was the master griller...never grilled...I thought I was the master griller...never grilled watermelon..interesting at the least!!
