The Bend in the Road

Just a quick post from me this morning.

I'm already more than fashionably late for the
 Note Card Party
 at A Haven for Vee.

There won't be a lot of yakking to go along this post,  either. Frankly, I don't have the time to fill up the empty spaces between pictures with my usual noise.  Nobody wants to hear it anyway.
You're busy too, probably busier than I am.

Instead, I put some text with my photos to make the sentiment, and the reason that I chose each picture, self explanatory.  The inspiration was this first photo from a post written nearly four years ago.

The bend in the road...

... is not the end of the road.

The journey isn't over just because the pavement ends, either.

And you know what they say about one door closing...

Sharing these melodramatic sentiments
with the note card party at A Haven For Vee

Oh-oh. There's something wrong with me. I don't find these melodramatic sentiments at all. In fact, I find that, for a Christian, they are the essence of the faith walk itself and I'm counting on these sentiments to be the truth because I see a bend in the road more clearly every day.

Thanks for joining in when you are so busy. And don't be putting down the wonderful gift that God gave you...words!

These are wonderful photos and wonderful sentiments. And since I can't go out and purchase some of these cards, I'll be writing the quotes down in my little book of words. I particularly like the C S Lewis quote. Thanks for sharing.

I know I would pick all four cards out of a shop rack - I'm always drawn to pathways and roads, they have real meaning for us!
I'm hoping you print them off!

I really love the last image - the wreath hanging on the door - it's just beautiful!
Please keep on yakking - it's lovely!

Wishing you a Blessed Easter Debbie.

Beautiful photos, and beautiful sentiments. Really.

But, I've got to add a *funny* - I was reminded of this quote from Yogi Berra, "When you come to a fork in the road, take it!"

I suppose the point is that one must never stop moving forward...

Debbie, don't ever stop going forward...

Love to you and yours. And a very blessed Easter!
