Bloggadoodle for a Dreary Day

Driving along on this dreary day,  I noticed something.

Is is just me
or does this creepy old silo

kind of look like it's growing
a beard?

And doesn't  this one

Look just a little bit like
a Chia Pet?

I report.
You decide.

By the way, I'm heading back to my little classroom tomorrow after a four week hiatus. I just hope that my students remember something that I taught them before Christmas.

My name, for example, would be nice...

Too funny! I have a silo across the road from me, I'm going to check it out tomorrow and see if it looks like this. Will be thinking of you when I see the silo & remembering to pray for you as you head to your classroom in the am.

You are so funny! And I kind of thought that first one looked like a hairy leg. But how would I know about something like that in winter??? ;-)

Have fun with your class. I know they will have fun with you, Debbie!

XO,

Sheila :-)

WEIRD!!! And definitely creepy! Why is it like that? I agree that the first one looks like a hairy leg...not mine of course! Good luck with going back to school tomorrow. :-)

Definitely a Chia Pet. Love your sense of humor. I always enjoy my visits here. I know what you mean about going back to class after a break. Haven't done that in 13 years now. Wow, time does zip by.
Have a great year! ~ Sarah

OK, you make me laugh like no one else!! Seriously, I'm in tears. I just adore your crooked look at the world.

YES - it's definitely a beard. And yes, that's absolutely a sideways Chia Pet...OR a very large magnet with every iron implement within 50 miles attached to it.

Thanks for the chuckle, De...Do...Di...oh heck, you know your name!

GOD BLESS!

Sheila, it DOES look like a hairy leg! Even more like that than a beard.

Your sense of humor is priceless...I love the pictures. I hope your class remembers your name!!
Thanks for the comments on my harvest...may you see God's harvest in His time and be refreshed by the produce He has brought forth from your life!

What an interesting drive -- Chia pets and hairy legs! I'm laughing, but will be on the look out for their relatives.

Your students not remembering your name? Hardly think that will happen as I'll wager you share humor along with teaching. Have a good day back in the classroom!

I agree with you Debbie, they are so cute. Thanks for the smile!
Your students are going to be so happy to see you, I know I would.

SO funny! I wish I had your keen eye to see this crazy stuff out here. I think Chia pet describes is best but hairy leg is close...I don't think my husband owns anything like these.

I wish I were as confident as some of the others about your students. Sadly, I know these kids and they'll have trouble remembering much of anything. Surely your name though.

Thanks for the giggle.

Hi Debbie...

My friend, these silos have got to be the most interesting that I've ever seen! Hehe! I think they do look like they have the "chia" thing going on...sooo funny! Okay, I assume those are vines that are leafless because of the winter season...but I bet they really do look beautiful when they are all leafed out! Great photos, my friend!

Ohhh my...is it hard going back to school after being off for four weeks? How I remember those times! Well dear friend, I do hope that your transition back to work goes smoothly! Have a great week!!!

Warmest winter wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design

It's so great how you can see a creepy, hairy silo and turn it into a "blogadoodle for a dreary day"! Thanks for making me smile today :)

Debbie,
I'm giggling again over your great sense of humor - beards, Chia pets, hairy legs my imagination goes into overtime trying to come up with something...but, alas, no go! Hope you had a good day at school today.

I love it! And I love/hate the hairy leg comment. HAHAH! The second one is SO crazy. What on earth makes it grow straight out like that? And what *is* that stuff?!

Hope your first day back went great.

P.S. - I should probably email you, but I've opted to consider teaching in my transitional period here and I might need some encouragement. ;)

Eeeeew. I'm hoping the first one looks better in the spring time! The second one looks like a gale force wind is hitting it!!!!
I found a blog that a teacher writes that made me laugh. It's not the best language at times, but her students sure keep her hopping!
Good luck!
